Meeting explaining CART -  Communication Access Realtime Translation.   One topic of the Chapter's meetings held to educate and inform about hearing loss.

Hello everyone - thanks so much for visiting our new website!

 Chapter Update:

We are now meeting on the1st Saturday of the month (10:30 AM),  in the History Room, 2nd Floor, Indian River County Library, 1600 21st Street, Vero Beach.      The meeting is free and open to the public.  There are no meetings in June, July or August.

Our Chapter is looking for new members, volunteers and Board Members willing to serve an hour or two a month to continue reaching the many people who want to be part of an organization that understands hearing problems. We need help with our web page, we need someone to help email and call those who are on our list about coming to meetings, we need people who wish to volunteer  to help in other ways, including setting up the portable looping system before each meeting (guys, here is where you can shine!).

If you would be interested in volunteering to help our Chapter (one or more hours a month) as a volunteer, or serve on our Board of Directors, please contact us - use the contact page, or the email address:, or text  Cheryl at (772) 468-0123.  Our Chapter serves the Treasure Coast, and we are looking for members and volunteers from all areas of the Treasure Coast.

Our Hearing Resource Guide is out!  Thanks to Thrivent Financial for their donation toward printing costs!  To request a copy via email, please use  You will be amazed at all that is in this book!

This website is a work in progress, and you will see more photos, news and hearing-related items appearing from time to time, so please check back often.
